Account and data deletion
Remove app data on your device or request action from your OCM organization.
The OCM mobile app does not create or independently own your account. Your account and case records belong to the OCM server operated for your organization.
On this device
Delete locally stored app data
Use either method below when you only need to remove credentials and cached OCM information from a phone or tablet.
Inside the app
- Open OCM and go to Settings.
- Choose Sign out to remove the active credentials and cached case information.
- Choose Forget server if you also want to remove the saved server and its app registration details.
From the operating system
Uninstalling OCM removes the app and its local app data. Your organization’s server account and server-held records are not deleted by uninstalling the app.
On the server
Request account or record deletion
The organization that supplied your OCM login controls the server-side account and records.
- Contact your organization’s OCM administrator or privacy contact.
- Identify the account or records involved without sending confidential details through unsecured email.
- Ask the organization to confirm its identity-verification process, retention obligations, and the action taken.
Legal-aid organizations may be required to preserve some client, matter, audit, grant, financial, or professional-responsibility records. A request may therefore result in correction, restriction, deactivation, retention, or deletion depending on the organization’s policy and applicable law.
If Metatheria hosts the OCM server for that organization, Metatheria acts on the organization’s authorized instructions; it does not override the organization’s retention decisions merely because the mobile app is installed.
Cannot identify the operator?
We can route your request
If you cannot identify the organization operating your connected OCM server, contact mobile support with your organization name and server address. Do not include a password, token, or confidential case information.
For more detail about how the mobile app handles information, read the OCM mobile privacy policy.
